Laboratory Development towards Accreditation

Competency is becoming a key factor in today’s life and it is becoming essential for laboratories to be able to demonstrate their competency in order to compete. Accreditation is one of the most important tools for ensuring competence and providing confidence in the accuracy and reliability of testing and calibration results. Laboratories use accreditation to prove their competency and that they meet international standards.

Aseel Laboratory Systems provides all support to all kinds of laboratories in all the activities that are required for the laboratories to obtain, maintain and extend their accreditation according to ISO/IEC17025, ISO15189, ISO 17043.

Our support can be in the following forms:

  • A comprehensive project to qualify the laboratory towards accreditation. This includes training of the laboratory staff in all aspects required to establish, implement and maintain the management system. It also includes direct assistance and supervision on establishing and implementing the documentation and accumulating the records required for accrediting the laboratory activities.
  • Coaching in one or more of the activities required for accreditation. These include, but are not limited to, the following:

Technical support can be in the form of any of the following:
  • Operation and troubleshooting of test equipment (GC, HPLC, GC-MS, GC-(MS)n, HPLC-MS, HPLC-(MS)n, AA, ICP, ICP-MS, spectrophotometers, incubators, freeze-driers…etc)
  • Developing Sampling Plan
  • Validation and adaptation of the methods
  • Development and validation of in-house methods
  • Estimation of uncertainties
  • Interpretation and reporting of testing results
In addition to any other specially requested support that the laboratory might require.
